Car Riders - drop off line 7:00 - 7:30 am
Staff members will be on the sidewalk to help students out of the car until 7:30. When the 7:30 bell rings staff will move inside to assist with instruction in the classrooms.
If you arrive at the sidewalk at 7:30 or later you will need to park and walk your child into the building and sign your child in. Students should be in their classroom and ready for instruction by 7:30. Please plan to arrive before the 7:30 tardy bell rings.
We will work to keep the car rider line moving quickly in the mornings. Here are several things to help speed up the car rider process:
Arrive as early as possible.
Students should disembark the car on the passenger side only.
Teach your children to buckle and unbuckle themselves.
Older students can get out of the car on their own when you have reached the sidewalk.
Your child should have all of their belongings in hand and ready to depart the vehicle when the car door is opened.
Follow the directions of staff and pull all the way forward and let out where your car stops.
If you have concerns about being tardy due to the car rider line traffic, please consider signing your child up to ride the bus. Students who arrive on the bus are never counted tardy.
Bus Riders -
Please be at your bus stop and ready to load the bus when it arrives. During the first week of school the bus times might vary due to route changes. BCS Transportation asks that you allow for 10 minutes before or after the time given to you.
