Nicole Olenick is our school counselor at Weaverville Primary School. She is both a school counselor and licensed clinical mental health counselor in the state of North Carolina. Mrs. Olenick attended undergraduate school at Virginia Tech (go Hokies!) and went to graduate school at Lenoir Rhyne University. She has been at Weaverville Primary the last 6 years and loves every second of being a counselor to our great hawks!!

Mrs. Olenick values relationships with students, families, teachers, stakeholders and the community! She helps Weaverville Primary in focusing on the whole student through social and emotional support and helps students achieve their best selves through a comprehensive school counseling program. She works with students individually, in small groups, and whole classroom lessons. She consults with families and teachers any time they need. She is the team lead of the PBIS team and helps students follow school expectations and love coming to school.
