Students got to see a special surprise for Ms. Atkinson during their math lesson. Guests from Mix 96.5 and M.B. Haynes Corporation popped in to let her know she's the Mix 96.5 Teacher of the Month!
Melanie from the Mix afternoon show received an email from the mother of a former student. The woman shared that even though her son is now 21 years old, he still talks about how he enjoyed being a student in Ms. Atkinson's class.
