First graders of Hominy Valley Elementary School (HVES) embarked on a journey filled with laughter, learning, and a touch of adventure as the eager young explorers set foot in the enchanting Children’s Hands-On Museum in Hendersonville.
Every exhibit in the museum became a portal into imagination, curiosity, and unforgettable memories. Students were able to participate in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) exhibits as they learned about wind, dinosaurs, doctors, and so much more.
“The museum has real world activities that the students very rarely get to explore,” said first grade teacher Stephanie Boyd. “To see the excitement on the students’ faces was priceless!”
The first grade adventures wove memories like golden threads into the tapestry of their young lives, each exhibit at the museum a treasure trove of experiences. Students left at the end of the day with renewed sense of curiosity, a deeper bond of friendship, and a world of possibilities waiting to be explored.
