Work Based Learning

Work-based learning (WBL) is an educational strategy that provides students with real-life work experiences where they can apply academic and technical skills and develop employability skills.

Work-based learning allows students to explore life outside the classroom through job shadowing, internships, apprenticeships, guest speakers, career days and other events.  These opportunities provide students with first-hand, relevant experiences and bring learning to life! Sometimes it is just as important to figure out what you DON'T want to do, as what you want to do.  Experience CTE!
